The contract manufacturer of metal products, Leden Group Oy, will become part of the HANZA Group. The companies have signed a purchase agreement on 12 December 2024, according to which HANZA will acquire the entire share capital of Leden Group Oy. The transaction will be finalized after regulatory approvals.
HANZA´s concept has transformed contract manufacturing by offering local, complete manufacturing clusters that integrate different manufacturing technologies such as cable harnesses, electronics, sheet metal, machining and heavy engineering. Founded in Sweden in 2008, HANZA has today grown into an international group with 18 factories in seven countries: Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany, and China. HANZA has approximately 2,500 employees in 6 manufacturing clusters and has annual turnover of over SEK 4,6 billion, prior to the deal with Leden. HANZA is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm.
“We found good partners in each other companies. The goals and values of companies align and create a solid foundation for successful business. Leden will continue its growth strategy as part of the larger HANZA family, and a key role in implementing the strategy is the investment in the new factory in Oulainen, which will be completed at the turn of the year. Through this collaboration, our customers will benefit from the broader shoulders and services of HANZA`s global network” says Jukka Haapalainen, CEO of Leden Group.
